Profile Overview

Engr. Hon. Charles Amadi is a Nigerian engineer, administrator, and seasoned public servant with extensive experience in governance, community relations, stakeholder engagement, and grassroots development across the Niger Delta region.

He is widely recognized for his leadership in promoting peaceful coexistence between host communities and corporate organizations, strengthening institutional dialogue, mediating conflicts within community and administrative frameworks, and supporting sustainable community development initiatives.

His contributions to strengthening traditional institutions, promoting stakeholder collaboration, and advancing grassroots governance have earned him respect across both public and community sectors.

In recognition of his outstanding contributions to public service, institutional leadership, and community development, he was honoured with the Distinguished Service Star of Rivers State (DSSR).

As a Founding Patron of the School Children’s Vision Detection and Referral Initiative (SCVDRI), Engr. Hon. Charles Amadi supports the vision of improving child eye health, strengthening educational outcomes, and promoting sustainable community-based interventions that ensure no child is limited academically due to preventable or undetected vision problems.

His support reflects a strong belief that educational advancement and child development remain essential foundations for building stronger communities, promoting social stability, and creating a more productive society.

A child who cannot see clearly may struggle silently in the classroom. By supporting early vision detection and educational health interventions, we are not only helping children learn better — we are helping to build a stronger future for our communities and society.
